Official 1953 manual gives termination as 12 September 1958 and requires ten years of satisfactory federal reserve service. Earliest credited service has not been independently verified.
Service years and award dates
Years help surface possibilities. A date overlap does not show that someone earned an award. Some date rules describe completion, specific operations or retroactive eligibility, rather than a universal service window.
Service-date coverage for this ribbon is still being confirmed. It remains available in the finder when you enter service years.
Research notes and remaining questions
- Do not interpret 1938 establishment as earliest service credited toward 10 years.
- Exact beginning of accumulated qualifying service not verified; the 1938 establishment date is not used as a service start.
